1、 Kick-off： The start of a match， when one team kicks the ball from the center of the field to the other team.

2、 Offside： A rule in soccer which states that a player cannot be in front of the ball and the last defender when the ball is passed to them.

3、 Corner kick： A free kick which is taken from the corner of the field after the ball has gone out of play over the goal line.

4、 Goal kick： A free kick taken by the defending team after the ball has gone out of play over the goal line.

5、 Penalty kick： A free kick awarded to a team when a foul has been committed inside the penalty area.

6、 Throw in： A free kick given to a team when the ball has gone out of play over the sideline.

7、 Direct free kick： A free kick given to a team when a foul has been committed outside of the penalty area.

8、 Yellow card： A warning given to a player by a referee for committing a foul.

9、 Red card： A card shown by a referee to a player which results in them being sent off the field.

10、 Handball： A foul committed when a player touches the ball with their hand， arm or shoulder.
